PPSS maintains a current and expanding list of professionals who have a reputation for understanding the issues pertinent to adoption, foster care, permanent care and/or kinship care. The resource includes information pertaining to health practitioners, counsellors, lawyers, accountants, education specialists and other associated professions, and has been compiled by the PPSS Committee of Management. All of the people on the list have been recommended by at least one of our members and all have considerable experience with children in alternative care placements.
However, PPSS acknowledges that the relationship between a family and worker is very individual and we are therefore unable to make any formal recommendations. The professionals on our list are not officially endorsed by PPSS, but have been recommeded through our network of members and associates who have found the service(s) to be of great value.
